If someone asks me, how does the idea of going on a blind date sound?
I would say... Interesting but not very practical.
Imagine if the date turns out to be totally boring?
There are so many weird kinds of people in the world. What if my date is a serial killer or some psychological maniac? What if he is a terrorist or a spy?
Well, the probability of these things happening might be very low but am I ready to take that risk to meet a person without knowing whom I am meeting. Especially, when we wouldn't be able to scan their social media profiles before we meet, or chat a bit to check if the person is trustworthy, interesting and not a creep or pervert.
The next question I am asked is what if you go out on a blind date with the world, instead?
(Now, that thought is really interesting!
Exploring the world. I always wanted to do that.
Will it have the same risks as meeting a person?
Well yes and no.
I mean, yes there are those threats of it being a risky place but aren't we at risk anywhere we are already? I would love to travel and explore the world!
The place might help me complete some of the things I have in my bucket list. I might even experience some things which are unknown to me. Like in a bucket list we want to experience the known things whose experience is unknown to us. Wouldn't it be more wonderful to just experience unknown things whose experience is unknown, ofcourse? That would be a first.
Isn't that just life? Throwing it's experiences towards us while we don't have a clue over what the outcome is going to be and why we are feeling these unknown, unfamiliar feelings. These situations.. these firsts.. actually help us understand who we are as a person really.
Self exploration to know the real me.
Umm.. all of this sounds inspiring, thrilling but am I open-minded enough to actually go about it?
Let's imagine #TheBlindList
First of all, how do I imagine a blind list?
I mean I close my eyes and imagine..........
I am in the Cartoon Network world!
A land full of my favourite cartoon characters, a very very happy place, lot of children around. A world full of innocence and love. A world where the good guys always win! Games, smiles, laughter and so many new and weird things which happen in the cartoon world. A cat and a rat play and fight but the cat doesn't prey on the rat like in Tom and Jerry. A world full of stones but high end technologies like the Flintstones! And the most important thing a 2 dimensional world! A world where the third dimension siezes to exist. So many colours, characters I would greet, see and meet. Mickey mouse, Scrooge McDuck, Aladdin, Genie, Baloo and so many others.
They taught us so many things through their various adventures.
Laughing, singing, living lives joyfully, being a businessman or a pilot! This travel will be so inspiring. Back to childhood, would be such an enriching experience!)

πthat was a delightful and a thrilling thought!
It would bring out the child in me and as a child I would know myself even better as they say, most of our personalities is hidden in the first seven years of life. That inner child in me will come out and I would explore myself while going about this new experience of exploration.
So, my answer to the second question after all this pondering is Yes!
I #SayYesToTheWorld to unravel the mysteries, overcome my fear of unknown, get inspired and rediscover my blind love for the world!
Keep Thinking! π
